Resident L.N. asks: I am wondering if you have ever had any complaints about a smell in Downtown Burlington? I have, on occasion, noticed a smell similar to burning plastic. I noticed it quite strong today and have also occasionally noticed it in the early mornings.

Response: The Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) is the lead agency when investigating outdoor odour complaints. Residents should call the Burlington office at 905-319-3847.

What inspired me to seek public office in the first place – "I can do something about that!" – continues to propel me forward as the City and Regional Councillor for Ward 2 since 2010.
