Take the downtown Pop-up Patio Survey

Deadline: Oct. 15

Take the survey: Pop-Up Patio Survey

Staff are looking for your feedback on the City’s pop-up patio program in the downtown. There are currently two pop-up patios from May to October located on Brant Street at Papa Giuseppe’s and The Coop.

Pop-up patios are patios that are built on the street in front of a downtown restaurant.

Do you support the program? Take the survey and let us know what you think.

I was inspired to seek public office because I believe, like so many of you, “I can do something about that” on the issues we face. As councilor, my role is to take a stand on what’s best for residents and go to bat for it. Pushback is inevitable from those who don’t have the community’s interests at heart. I will stand with you and for you, to achieve the best interests of our city, without caving to unacceptable compromise in the name of consensus.

  1. Marianne if you get a chance take a trip to Kingston and see how they have redesigned downtown streets to accommodate patio’s and areas for stores to display things for sale outside. It does eliminate some on street parking but the benefits are a more flexible and people friendly sidewalk area. This far outweighs the loss of parking.
