Habitat for Humanity has applied for an Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw Amendment to permit 20 townhomes, 3 storeys each, in two blocks of 10 units. The current Official Plan and Zoning on the property is neighbourhood commercial, which permits retail and service commercial uses and community facilities. Residential uses may be permitted in the second and third story of retail commercial buildings. The Official Plan and Zoning need to be amended to permit townhouses.
