Voting Information
You can vote in Burlington if you are 18 years or older, a Canadian citizen, and live here, or own/lease property in Burlington but live elsewhere.
Election Day – Mon. Oct. 27, 10am-8pm
On election day you can vote at one of five Ward 2 Polling Stations, between 10am-8pm. If you’re not yet on the voters list, or forget to bring your card, you can still vote by bringing one piece of identification showing your name and qualifying address directly to the polling station.
Burlington Seniors’ Centre, 2295 New Street
Vote here if you live: East of Brant Street, North of Caroline/New/Central Park to Prospect, in the
Emerald/Wellington/Deyncourt/Ghent/Mayzel/Woodward/Redfern neighbourhoods.
Burlington Public Library, Central Location, 2331 New Street
Vote here if you live: East of Brant Street, South of Caroline/New to Guelph Line, in the downtown, along Lakeshore Road or in the Lakeshore School/Centennial Bikeway neighbourhoods
Burlington Performing Arts Centre, 440 Locust Street
Vote here if you live: West of Brant, South of Baldwin/Freeman to the lake, in the St. Luke’s, Maple Crossing, Maple/Lakeshore neighbourhoods.
St. John Catholic School, 653 Brant St.
Vote here if you live: West of Brant to Maple, North of Baldwin/Freeman, in the Richmond/Stephenson and Olga/Hager/Ghent neighbourhoods.
The Salvation Army Community Church, 2090 Prospect St
Vote here if you live: North of Prospect to the QEW from Maple to Guelph Line, in the Maplewood, Glenwood School Drive, Barclay or Leighland neighbourhoods.
Not on the voters list?
You should have received your notice at the end of September. If you haven’t, you can still be added to the voters list at the polling station when you go to vote. Bring one piece of identification showing your name and qualifying address.
