Brian Aasgaard, Theo Bullock and me

Mr. Bullock received his lifetime membership for his invaluable first hand recollections of his personal use of Freeman Station over many decades, as well as that of the Bullock family who were among the original market garden farmers in the Aldershot & Freeman communities. Mr. Bullock who is 91 years old was born and raised in Aldershot. Theo attended Maplehurst Public School. Mr. Bullock also is a member of the local Lion’s Club for over 61 years. Theo served honourably in WW 2, sustaining several war wounds. His stories of the Bullock family, as well as the other local farm families who depended on Freeman Station as their shipping depot for produce will be collected and saved to a Freeman Station information database. The Bullock family and many of the other original farm families of the Burlington and Aldershot areas are now archived with photos and stories at The Burlington Historical Society. We are deeply indebted to Mr. Theo Bullock for his many contributions to Burlington and Freeman Station.
