Traffic Calming ZoneCity staff have completed a traffic review on Leighland Road and determined that Leighland, between Helena Street and Brant Street, warrants the installation of traffic calming measures. Date: Wed., April 6, 2016
Time: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Location: Royal Canadian Legion, 828 Legion Rd.

Transportation staff will present the plan and residents will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments. A letter will be mailed to area residents shortly with further details.

I was inspired to seek public office because I believe, like so many of you, “I can do something about that” on the issues we face. As councilor, my role is to take a stand on what’s best for residents and go to bat for it. Pushback is inevitable from those who don’t have the community’s interests at heart. I will stand with you and for you, to achieve the best interests of our city, without caving to unacceptable compromise in the name of consensus.
