Missed the Leighland traffic calming meeting? Info here

City staff have completed a traffic review on Leighland Road and determined that Leighland, between Helena St. and Brant St., warrants the installation of traffic calming measures. Staff are proposing split speed humps on the road. Two will be installed (black dots on the map below),  with potential for a third (white dot). Before installing the third, staff will collect data for a year to determine whether the initial speed bumps have solved the problems of speeding and cut through traffic. If not, the third speed hump will be installed.

Expected installation is this fall.
