Changes at the Seniors Centre
A number of residents have contacted me to express concerns about changes they are hearing about at the Burlington Seniors Centre, and seeking clarification of rumours they have heard regarding current activities and the future of the centre.
Drury Lane Bridge reconstruction approved
Great news – on Feb. 21, city council approved the interim repairs for the Drury Lane pedestrian bridge. That will get the bridge back in service by this summer and extend its life for another five years while we plan for a longer term pedestrian connection over the CN tracks.
Heritage Burlington needs you
There will be multiple opportunities for public input as the recommendations are being developed, including online feedback and a public meeting the evening of April 25 (time and place to be announced.
