On Sept. 23, 2015, city planning staff hosted a public meeting at the Burlington Seniors’ Centre to share details about a development proposal by Roman Home Builders at 2085 Pine St. The proposal includes a 5-storey, 15 unit residential building, with 22 underground parking spaces and 2 spaces at grade. The existing heritage home would be retained and used as a common space for residents of the building.
City planning staff presented an information-only report to the Development & Infrastructure Committee on Nov. 9, 2015. A copy of the report and the webcast of the Nov. 9 meeting are available at www.burlington.ca/agendasandminutes.
City planning staff will bring forward their recommendation report sometime in the new year. The report will contain a recommendation to either approve the project, deny the project or approve it with modifications. It will then be up to members of the Development & Infrastructure Committee (all Members of City Council) to discuss and vote on the recommendation.
