City Talk in homes this week, available online

Burlington, Ont. – Aug. 19, 2014—The summer 2014 edition of City Talk, Burlington’s community magazine, will be in homes beginning this week and is available online.

This issue focuses on the city’s engagement initiatives and civic engagement opportunities in Burlington. Highlights include:

· Get Engaged, Burlington

· The Charter Action Team (ChAT)

· Youth engagement

· Let’s Talk Burlington and Insight Burlington

· The 2014 municipal election

· The city’s E-Government program

City Talk is designed in magazine format and includes municipal news and information. It is produced three times a year and is delivered to houses, apartments and condominiums across Burlington.
