Flood relief fundraiser downtown this weekend!
Join me in beautiful downtown Burlington Sat. Aug. 23 for a fundraiser for Burlington flood victims, and enjoy free music as part of Saturdays in the Street (Brant&Elgin) and view exotic and high performance cars as part of Marques d’Elegance (Brant St). (Brant St).
So far, 20 downtown businesses have contributed gift certificates and products worth more than $1500 as part of our fundraiser.

We also have some special guests – some friends of mine and their young sons, 5 & 7, who will be selling freezies to raise funds – their initiative!! Great to see kids involved.
Ward 5 Councillor Paul Sharman will be serving as Deputy Mayor to talk about the devastation in his ward and provide an update on the city’s flood relief efforts.
Buy your raffle ticket at the Burlington Downtown Business Association tent, where I’ll be on hand with volunteers selling raffle tickets and providing information on flood relief and all the ways you can help.
