Bike to school week May 30 to June 3

As part of the Healthy Kids Community Challenge, the city is encouraging Burlington schools, teachers and students to get active and ride their bikes to school during Bike to School Week May 30 – June 3. Schools are eligible to win prizes by registering to participate at www.biketoschoolweek.ca.

Schools that register by May 6 will automatically be entered into a random draw for a chance to win 1 of 20 bike racks for their school and schools that sign up before the registration close date of June 1 will be entered into a random draw to win a Can-Bike rodeo for their school in the 2016-17 school year. Winners will be announced during Bike to School Week.

Participating schools are encouraged to take photos and share through social media using hash tag #biketoschoolburlon
