City of Burlington launches online cultural map

burlington cultural map Residents and cultural groups can get information and discover resources including: cultural venues, creative cultural industries, creative professionals, cultural heritage and artists.

“The cultural map is integral to the city’s cultural action plan,” said Kim Phillips, general manager of community and corporate services. “It’s our hope that culture groups, residents and visitors will take advantage of the cultural map to search, explore and experience the wonderful cultural assets Burlington has to offer.”

The map is free and allows culture-based groups, businesses and individuals to create a customized listing, plot a location on the map and gain exposure online.

The map is designed to grow over time as culture stakeholders continue to populate the map with their information.
